VOIP MESSENGER · VOICE AND MESSAGING
A place for every conversation.
VOIP Messenger brings voice and messaging together for friends and communities. Use the Windows app or join from your browser, with English and Dutch interfaces.
Voice chat with control over your microphone
Voice channels use WebRTC with Opus audio. Microphone selection, echo cancellation, noise suppression and playback volume help you adapt the sound to your setup.
Set a microphone threshold and try the local level meter before a conversation. Speaker names glow when speech is detected. Mute your microphone, mute all sound, or mute a specific person only for yourself.
This early-access version supports up to 12 people in a voice channel. Network conditions, hardware and relay routing affect the actual audio quality and latency.
Your community, your channels
Create a community with separate text and voice channels. Share an invitation link so friends can choose the Windows app or browser and confirm before joining.
The creator becomes the owner automatically. Owners can appoint admins, and admins can assign moderators. Moderators can create channels, while role changes follow the community’s permission rules.
Friends and direct messages
Find each other through unique nicknames, send friend requests and start a direct conversation once accepted. Channel and direct-message history are stored by the central server.
Upload a profile picture, use the emoji picker and adjust chat text size from 12 to 24 pixels. Your recent channel and draft messages are remembered on the device.
Direct messages are limited to the participants in the app. Text messages are stored on the server and are not end-to-end encrypted.
